Gear, gear, gear...and more gear

Gear takes a lot of importance in this type of trip. It can save your life, protect you but also burden you.

It's a mix between: what you really need, what you could need and what you don't need but will make your life more comfortable.

And when you add up all 3 categories you end up needing a very large North Face XL 155L base camp duffle bag to store it all!

(And therefore my beautiful marmot 110L is not going to cut it)
